It is Energy Saving Week and we are switching our attention away from mortgages and looking at how we can save money and help the planet by saving energy.
Here are some tips from the Energy Saving Trust
Save Water
According to Unicef cold water and warm water are equally effective at killing viruses such as Covid-19 as long as you wash your hands for 20 seconds, use soap and dry your hands afterwards.
Lights Off
With many of us now working from home, the heating and lights are on almost all day. Make sure you keep the lights off and the doors shut to the rooms you aren't using and turn down the heating in those rooms if you can.
Switch Provider
As with our own #MortgageSwitch campaign, we encourage everyone to check they are on the best deal for their usage. Its also a good time to look at green energy providers.
